Ideal for hiking and mountain biking as well as families with children, these spectacular hiking routes can also be negotiated with a child’s Buggy or stroller. The spectacular unique rock formations and varied climbing routes of varying difficulty levels will certainly not disappoint climbing enthusiasts.

Walking in the Dolomites

A poular network of trails for families and outdoor holiday enthusiasts fans out beneath the Three Peaks of Lavaredo, a UNESCO World Heritage Property. Discover the Sexten Natural Park when hiking along the scenic trails and on family excursions. Walking in the pure air of the Dolomites is not only a unique experience in itself, but also promotes one’s health and sense of wellbeing.
While most trails are accessible with a Buggy or stroller, walking at the foot of the Three Peaks of Lavaredo is a must. The trail leading from the parking lot up to the mountains, to the Lavaredo shelter hut to the Dreizinnen hut passes the Mittlerer Scharte ridge before returning back to the parking lot.

Mountain Biking in the Dolomites

An extensive network of cycle tracks allows exploration of the stunning terrain of the Three peaks of Lavaredo, with the main scenic routes following ancient military roads. Worth mentioning is the impressive Stoneman Trail, which may be split up into a 3-day trip, taking bikers through this awesome terrain in the Dolomites.
